Hi everyone,
I started my last transfer this week and my new comp is fresh out of the MTC. His name is Elder Muranaka and he's from Hokkaido, Japan. We're completely different but we'll make it work!
I'll just briefly write some things that happened this week:
- The first time my comp shared a scripture from the Book of Mormon he got us a return appointment! Bean chan power is real I guess.
- We went to a missionary prep class yesterday with a 17 year old in our ward that's thinking about a mission. Pres and sister Warnick were there and that was the last time I'll get to see them before they go home this Thursday. 😭
- I got a message from a guy I met almost a year ago with Elder Loper who said he read the whole Book of Mormon! Way nuts! Way confused though because when I asked what he thought he basically just said "I didn't understand the religious references" and that was it. He also just quit replying after that...😢
- We had our second lesson with the family we are teaching and we taught them about Jesus Christ. It was a way good time and the two daughters said they want to come to church when they are free on Sunday! Please pray for them!
That's about it for the week. Chapter one of the second book of "Saints" is in the July Ensign just FYI. 🙏
