Last pday we went bowling and got a solid 6 games in. I bowled like absolute trash but I guess that's what happens after a year. On a positive note the alley we went to had a drone that they flew around us while we were bowling so now I literally have drone footy of me bowling.
We had dinner with the Natori family in the ward yesterday. They made us tacos! They also lived in America for a long time so lots of english was spoken! I love english :) We read 3 Nephi 17 together with them which is probably my favorite chapter in the Book of Mormon. I really don't think there is any other place in the scriptures that describes Christ's love for us better than that chapter. Everyone go give it a read!
A few more other random things
- For the light the world day of service on the 1st we got together with some members and did indexing! It was my first time doing it and I actually really liked it. If ya'll have never done it give it a try!
- We met up with a college kid named Daisuke from Tokyo that occasionally comes down to Kofu and had ramen together. We were able to give him a Book of Mormon and he seemed really pumped to read it!
- Some guy was staring at me so I started talking to him and turns out he was pretty drunk. He wouldn't stop saying how much he liked my face lol. He then tried to give me $10 since I am living in Japan and I had to reject him over and over. We finally settled on him buying us a drink from the convenience store nearby because we can accept that. Strange experience but I got a drink out of it haha. He probably looked in his wallet the next morning and wondered where his $10 went.
- I went trail running! There is a short trail near our apartment that Elder Rencher and I went running up one morning! It felt so good. We also got to the top just in time for the sunrise!
That's about it for the week,
